Present in the Indian market Suzuki has filled with all kinds of segment bikes. We saw earlier that Suzuki unveiled the BS6 Katana 1000 at Indian Auto Show 2020. And impressed a lot of audiences with modern-retro mixed style. The Japanese brand, Suzuki confirms through their social media to launch the 2022 Katana 1000 in the Indian market this month
The style and aerodynamic design of the bike were completely unique and original with sharp looks. If Suzuki launches Katana 1000 then it’ll be replaced by an S1000 naked bike, which was currently available in the Indian market. Suzuki included high-end hardware components in this bike and especially the handlebars on this was really damn good.
The highlighting thing was Suzuki equipped square shape headlamp upfront which resembles the retro theme. The Katana 1000 powerful machine is powered by 148 Horsepower at 10,000 rpm and to break down that much power Suzuki equipped Brembo calliper brakes with dual-channel ABS.
It gets a 999 cc engine with an inline four-cylinder that churns out 108 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. For better riding performance Suzuki included three different traction controls. We do expect the ex-showroom price for this 2022 Katana 1000 is around INR 10 lakh.
