Yamaha has got a lot of fans after the launch of R15 because this sports bike was a low segment, under budget with very stylish and high performance that grabbed more attention on this bike. Well, we know that Yamaha has discount YZF-R15 V2 in the Indian market.
Finally, we have seen last year R15 V3 in the India market and got blast sales on it. The 2020 BS6 R15 V3 on-road price at 1.75 lakh. Still carrying cult fans in this third-generation. In Thailand, one modifier (TuneBoss) equipped a turbocharger for R15 V2 for extra power. After the attachment of turbo, the result is really unbelievable.
The modifier released a video of R15 V2 testing on a dynamometer. You can notice that the acceleration was really improved and hitting 20 km/h for every second. Actually the stock engine R15 V2 exhibits a maximum output power of 17 HP, after equipping the turbocharger then it claims 23 HP.
Increasing extra 6 HP this R15 V2 hits the speedometer top-speed about 180 km/h. The interesting thing is this 150cc turbocharged engine in a span of 10 seconds it can achieve top-speed 180 km/h that was really stunning. Also, the modifier included quick-shifter, custom-exhaust, and USD front forks. No information regarding about cost of the entire modification
